"If our children are walking down dark and dangerous path, as parents who only want the best for our kids but still can't communicate with them, the only way to go for us is practicing deep, compassionate listening, using loving speech, and keeping the five mindfulness trainings.

"As fathers and mothers, your success in getting your children back is a great practice, a great contribution to society. [...] It'll be the greatest act of love that we can ever do. It's an act of a bodhisattva."
