The Joy of Meditation as Daily Food (EN subtitles)
This is a short teaching excerpted from the Dharma talk given on January 09, 2014 in the Still Water Meditation Hall, Upper Hamlet, Plum Village France, during the Winter Retreat 2013-2014.

"When you have meditative concentration, when you do everything in the spirit of meditation, you have a lot of peace and security, joy, and happiness inside of you. Because meditative concentration, or meditation — also called Zen, contains in it mindfulness (smṛti), concentration (samādhi), and insight (prajñā).
"If you have these three energies, you generate a lot of peace, security, joy, and happiness inside. With mindfulness, concentration, and insight / understanding, you have peace and security in your body. You're able to release stress in your body and tensions in your body. You can minimize aches and pains in your body.
"At the same time, you can also release a lot of emotional stress and mental tension. You're able to have inner joy and happiness because of meditative concentration."
