Irmão Pháp Lưu

Brother Chân Pháp Lưu (Brother Stream) entered the Plum Village monastic community in 2003 and received the Dharma Lamp from Thich Nhat Hanh- becoming a Dharma Teacher in 2011. Deeply inspired by engaged practice, he helped initiate the Wake Up movement for young people, the Happy Farm in Plum Village, and has supported Wake Up Schools since 2012.
He has also edited several of Thich Nhat Hanh's books and enjoys guiding mindful backpacking retreats in nature. Brother Stream continues to explore the meeting point of science and mindfulness through collaborative research with universities. He has co-authored a book released in 2025: Hiking Zen.
Brother Pháp Lưu offers Dharma Talks in English, French, and Spanish. While at home in Deer Park Monastery he finds many ways to be with his younger brothers: hiking, mentoring, teaching the Sutras and the Vinaya, and baking bread. He also loves to chop wood, sleep in a hammock, and make guacamole for Lunar New Year.
