The Evening Chant is sung at the beginning of the evening sitting meditation session. In the Plum Village monasteries the Evening Chant is most often sung in English, Vietnamese or French, but sometimes also in other languages, like here by Brother Duc Tri in Spanish.

With posture upright and solid,
We are seated at the foot of the Bodhi tree.
Body, speech, and mind are one in stillness;

Noble Sangha, diligently bring our minds into meditation.
