#48 Humility In Service. In this instalment Phap Huu and Jo talk Humility. What price do we pay for our fame-obsessed societies? Can humility become a great power? How do we show up in the world? What is it ‘to be enough’ in the world? And how did Thay handle fame and other famous people?

These dimensions are discussed with help from Buddhist teachings, Thich Nhat Hanh’s practices, and the presenters’ personal life stories, giving us a flavour of experiences of fame, but also the power of humility in service to life.

Amongst other subjects, Brother Phap Huu further delves into inferiority, superiority, and equality complexes and Jo looks at humility in leadership.

The episode ends with this short meditation guided by Brother Phap Huu.

'Breathing in I see myself as a drop of water letting go into this river...breathing out I am one with the river'
