Meditation is not one size fits all. It is a journey, one that requires outside support. In these times of worldwide uncertainty, when more and more people are turning to meditation practices for a refuge from suffering, it is important to understand that practice was traditionally guided by an experienced teacher in a formal relationship with a student. While the benefits of practice are immense, like any profound undertaking, there needs to be an understanding of what constitutes wise action, and what cautionary awareness might be prudent to know before embarking on such a journey.
