In this second aspect of Touching the Earth, Sister Chan Kong invites us to contemplate how our land ancestors have shaped our behaviour and way of thinking, so that we can cultivate gratitude for the good seeds that they have transmitted to us.
We are also reminded to look deeply into ourselves at the negative seeds: the racism; the discrimination; the violence that our land ancestors may have watered in us, and be mindful of our environment and how this may shape our habits and beliefs.
