#7 Spirit of the Rains Retreat: In this episode Jo and Phap Huu look at the Buddhist tradition on the 3 month Rains Retreat, a time when monastic communities would gather during the wet period of the year. As well as a time to rest from their travels, it gave them the opportunity to deepen their practice in the stability of one location. The Rains retreat is observed at Plum Village each year where monastic and lay friends spend time together. In this meditation Brother Phap Huu invites us to touch that stability and stillness:
